That cleaner shrimp eat bristel worms? I didn't, but I just saw my cleaner devouring one! Anyone else ever seen this?

That news to me...I've never seen either of my cleaner shrimp munch a living worm!

i have heard of arrow crabs going after bristle worms, but i havent heard of cleaner shrimp doing the same.

I've seen it occationally. Cleaner Shrimp don't seem to be strong enough to pull them out of their hole but if they catch them out in the open they make a good snack. Yummy!

The bristel worm was alive when he started tearing chunks of it off to eat. I expected to find the cleaner dead this morning, but he's just happy as can be!
