Difference between feather dusters and aiptasia on live rock?

Feahter dusters are harmless.. Apitsia causes problems like stings corals etc

I would suggest looking up each one online and seeing a image of each........its obvious what the differences are.

An Aiptasia will grab a small piece of meaty seafood and eat it. A Featherduster will retract quickly and ignore the food.

There are two main differences. The feather duster has a hard tube, the Aiptasia has a soft tube. The FD will retract JUST THE CROWN when touched, the Aiptasia will retract its entire body back into the rock.

Ah..ok, thanks guys!
I did look at the pics, and yes, they did look different, just wondered if there was a more detailed description as to the differences.
I don't want to inject Stop Aiptasia in the wrong one :scared:
