Aw you are not so bad reef. Tis actually a subject that doesn't lend it self to Hollywood type productions anyway.

LOL.....ANYWAY....I checked the "budding bubble"....I see no skeleton....it seems to be seated in a small "crater" (dent) in the rock, but is not attached in any way so I was able to move it

yup. LOL
right now the coral is slightly stressed so handling it is a very bad idea. the bacterial colonies on corals shift when the coral is stressed (the numbers in the bacterial colonies living on the coral shift in the tens of thousands when the coral is stressed), this can make them more prone to secondary infections at the division site, or they could be subsumed by a new bacterial threat you introduce through contact.
