Do you think this will be overstocked?

This would probably be pushing my limit in terms of being overstocked, right?
46 gal tank w/ 45 lbs LR and 10 gal sump (7 gals of water)
65 gal skimmer
Bold are definite
2clowns
1 purple firefish
1 midas blenny
1 royal gramma
1 flame angel

3 green chromis
I was plannin on adding 1 more fish (probaly 6line), but I would love to have 3 chromis instead.
You think it's safe, or is am I just asking for trouble?
It's going to be reef BTW.

I would definitely leave out the chromis if you really want all the other stuff or if you really want the chromis drop the royal gramma. I would have said the angel but it was in bold. You have a large skimmer though so I don't know.........if you really want to try everything then just go slow and add the chromis last.

Well, I have
1 clown (1 died and I will be replacing it)
royal gramma
purple firefish
midas blenny
So these aren't going anywhere
I definitly want the flame angel.
I think I can easily fit at least 1 more fish (I would put before flame), and I was wondering if I could get away w/ 3 chromis. I don't wanna add just 1 chromi, kinds defeats the purpose to me.

your fine, no chromis they suck! trust me they r assho****s they bully fish and they r annoying, trust meeeeeee. i dont like damsels or any chromis family they all have temperamental problems

Most chromis are usually much less aggressive than other damsels. It is very unusual to ever hear of chromis bullying anything.

This is what I thought.
I knew chromis were damsels, but I always thought they were one of the few damsels that could be kept w/o aggression problems. Just like clowns.
I was actually surprised to hear that they would get aggressive. I stumbled upon another thread where someone said something similar though.
Anybody have any other input on whether or not they would be overstocked, or if I should just leave them out due to aggression?
Thanks for the responses so far BTW.

I honestly would leave them out or add them very last and watch extremely close.....they are almost impossible to get out once they are there though so be aware of that.

Well, then another question... How many ppl recommend a 3 chromis in my tank?
Do it. Chromis are dither fish. They are always out and when shyer species such as firefish see this they think the coast is clear so it makes them more comfortable.

Yeah; threads asking about how to remove damsels are very common on this forum; I can never remember seeing one asking how to remove chromis. The more of them you have, within reason, the better they look.

Your tank is too smalk for 7 fish. The clowns will get bigger and more aggressive. The chromis in that tank will surely kill each other time.
I think your original list including the flame is maxed out.

IMO; with a good bio-filter and maintence, you won't be overstocked. IME, Chromis seldom bother each other, unlike true damsels.
