George was likable, I just wish he hadn't spent so much money. Don't have a whole lot of other issues with his term. I'd love to see Palin and a few dozen more like her in the Senate. I don't really care which party they belong to. Just be nice to see down to earth people who put country ahead of party running things.

Here is why their Ethics law Requires the State Office Holder named in ANY ethics Complaint even if they are CLEARED as she was IN EVERYONE RAISED AGAINST HER to PAY FOR ALL LEGAL FEES INCURRED AGINIST THEM. After being named the VP Nominee in 2008 People raised so many False complaints against her she was hit with over 500K in Legal Bills in 6 Months for a job that pays less than a House of Represenative seat. It was also getting into the way of Her doing her job of BEING THE GOVERNOR OF ALASKA. She knew if she stayed in office she would have been Bankrupt so she for the GOOD OF THE PEOPLE RESIGNED.

Richards was a masterful politician. Doesn't make her a good governor. Palin did a fine job running Alaska and judging by all the failed witch hunts against her an honest one. She just isn't particularly good politician, which can be good and bad if you think about it.

Palin's only mission in life now is to take any opportunity she can to throw Obama under the bus, even if that makes her look like an incompetent fool (which is about 99% of the time) doing it in the process. Obama could've responded to this BP debacle on week one, and she'd still find a way to blame him and anyone else that doesn't lean WAY to the right. Sorry, but someone who's supposed to have all this knowledge and experience with 'Big oil Companies', sure didn't sound like it to me.

You mean as compared to Obama and every other Democrat trying to blame Bush? It doesn't take a lot of throwing to get Obama under the bus on this. He waited too long to respond and didn't show a sense of urgancy. He should have been in all hands on deck mode within a week of the accident.

Problem is, if Obama and Crew would've been out there the first week, and said, "OK BP, you obviously don't know how to plug this leak. The Federal Government is taking over the operation, we'll bring in some of OUR people to fix it, then send you the bill." Every Republican and Conservative in this country would start screaming, "There Obama goes again! Trying to tell a big business what to do. Another stinking government takeover. Tell Obama to keep his Socialist fingers out of BP's business!" This oil spill disaster is a 'no win' scenerio for Obama, no matter how he would've handled it..
