You have to be going fast enough to do that to yourself. Hit the back of a semi and kill yourself. You make it seem like I was doing 130 with one hand on my phone looking down. I never said I was on the highway. Lets have a little just a smig of common sense.
Im not making up excuses. I just think people tend to think something is worse than it really is.
Also Im one of those dudes who rides on the highway and gets blown past by other jackasses on bikes. Its funny but they scare they living crap out of me when they do it. I have no need to ride like that or text while riding anymore. I understand how stupid it is. I am almost 30. Yes Im a big kid who does dumb crap a lot but I love life. i try to stay alive.
No, the car hit the semi head on, not the back.

Correct...but that was a little too much for most viewers on here. I was hoping that the original "mock" video would do the trick, but those pics were real, and personally I don't think some people could have handled it. For those who missed it, imagine the worse.....cell phones and driving don't mix

Crypt word to the wise you forget to look up while texting and hit the back end of a Semi-truck. There is NO amount of gear you can be wearing that will save your hind end. Here are some pics of someone that was texting in a small car that hit a Semi Head on. The Driver of the truck walked away the driver of the car well as the pics show they picked him up in pieces. To the mods this is a Semi driving board and the commets are from Professional drivers that see this everyday.

Here are a few pictures from the link that sep removed. The pictures are not graphic! No dead bodies! I blocked out any blood or body parts. There were several more pictures in the link of pieces of body parts that were left.

Thanks for editing that CK. It is important for people to see what can happen. Some of the other pitures were a bit too graphic though. BTW, there is an arm left in that last pic... Don't text and drive!!!

Perhaps an equally powerful lesson why exactly subcompact cars haven't caught on very well in the US, to spite high-gas prices

Texting and driving I agree isnt a good idea. But I get into "almost" accidents everyday and rarely are they because of texting.

Sorry sep I am not very good with Editing Software however those pics are now part of the local schools Driver Education program on the dangers of Texting while driving. I can not imagine WHY 12 out of 24 kids in the class puked. Sorry I saw worse out there when I drove. Lets just say try holding someone in your arms that is screaming as they are begging to die yet you have to tell their parents that their only son died painless. I still hear him at night sometimes.

Aqua, that dude could had been driving another semi. They both would had died then. Even if he was in a bigger car I highly doubt he would had lived. He may not had been cut in half.

Well, yes and no. The whole point of those pics is the shock and awe that the semi went so far into the car, almost to the C-pillar. As far as dieing in another car, sure. Speed is what kills, the human body can only get subjected to so much force, i.e. hit the airbag only so hard. With head-ons effectively doubling the impact speed, it's easy to do. If they were in a different car, they well very could have died, but the semi wouldn't gone the entire way through the car to make sure the job was done.
Which is actually another point, whatever European country the pics happened in, has some loose trucking laws. An 18-wheeler in the US would never get away with the bumper being so high.

+1!!!!!!! You are crazy if you text while riding a motorcycle! Those things are dangerous enough.
I used to ride a R6 as my only form of transportation. It is not the motorcycle that is dangerous, if is everyone else out there who doesnt pay any attention or dont care if they hit you.

Actually the Current DOT regs state a Front bumper on a Class 8 Semi only has to be at the Center height of the Tires. Ever seen a Dump Truck they are regulated by the Same regulations and they comply. Heck what you call the bumpers on most trucks today are Plastic coves only. The center section is at the same height it always was the plastic is there for Areo nothing more. Rear end collisions are worse for one reason. The ICC bumper on trailers is about neck level so you have one chance DUCK. With the length laws in certain States. CA being one of them is the worst requires a max of 40 ft between the kingpin to the front of the 1st axle of the trailer on anything longer than 48 feet.
So on a 53 foot trailer you can have 7 feet between the bumper to the back axle. On a 57 foot trailer and Cali allows them it is around 10-12 feet depending on were they put the kingpin of the trailer. Yet they require trucks to run 55mph while allowing cars to run 70-75 mph. So you have a 20 MPH differance and people that live on their cellphones. See why there is a problem with cars rear ending trucks in California and it is not the trucks fault when you get hit in the rear.

It's a Ford Ka. They are quite abit larger than a Smart. They are about the exact same size as the last generation Geo Metro coupe.
