Hmm, I guess that is why Long Island beaches consistently get voted some of the best beaches in the world. The beaches listed are about a half hour from my house, and all the beaches on the south shore of Long Island are just like them...

For the most part I ignore just about everything he says, but in this case he truly just has no idea what he is talking about!

One has to admit, "New York" doesn't make one think of beaches (BTW, there were a lot more S. CA beaches listed in that first link than the one NY beach) and since CA is crowded enuff, maybe I need to start saying how crummy it is here...bad traffic, no seasons, pricy to live (but so is NY)...
