Easiest fishes

Guys, what do you think are the best begginer fish? That combo of easy care, temperment, and darn right prettyness. Keep in mind that most begginers here fell that a 75 is a large tank.
Special note: whenever possible, get fish from Hawaii and Australia, they are not cyanide or explosive caught and will do much better.
here's my picks:
Small reef suitable angel
The Coral Beauty (Centropyge bispinosus) Available everywhere.

The Raccoon Butterfly (Chaetodon lunula)

Angel for tanks of 125+
Blue-Girdled or Majestic Angel (Pomacanthus navarchus)

Yellow Tangs From Hawaii or Australia only, and from LFS that aren't feeding them brine shrimp

As sebae09 said it's not nutritional. Also Tangs eat more algae than meat so its especially less useful for them. Even though they may look plump, they're starving. There are really only 2 reasons an LFS would give them brine, they dont know how to care for them, or, they cant get them to eat anything else.

I agree that Firefish are easy too, but not if you have "tank tappers" in your home, as in the species "rugratus smackthetankalotus".

firefish are very pretty and cool fish. but as a beginner i learned the hard way that they are jumpers. before i knew that mine was carpet surfing and i didn't get to him in time. RIP

What size tanks are needed for the Raccoon Butterfly or niger triggerfish??
Are these reef safe and will they get along with most community fish?

For Raccoon minimum tank some sources say 75, others 55. I know many people who have gotten them at under 4" and they have lived happilly in 55s for many years. He would have to be your biggest fish in the 55.

The Racoon and Navarchus are not reef safe and IMO not good choices for beginners. IMO, these fish and the CB need well established tanks and hobbiest with enough experiance to know what that is......now the Whale Shark...great choice, haha

I would suggest a FO (fish only) or FOWLR (fish only with live rock) for beginners anyway.
