Amphiprion percula is commonly called "True Percula"
and
Amphiprion ocellaris
is commonly called "False Percula".
I don't know why

Doesn't it have something to do with the black banding around the white? True usually has it false never does? Also something to do with the number of spines in the dorsal fin or something of that nature.
I know I read that somewhere but just don't remember where.
I am not a marine biologist but I did stay at Holiday Inn last night!!!
