Does anyone know if there "electric" blue streaking is real electricity or just an optical illusion? I can not see any light from the " electricity" when the tank is dark.
If anyone knows about these creatures, my sons and I debating over this topic.
I may lose some money here.
Thank you.:nervous:

i want to say rotifers is the preferred food, but i could be wrong. DT's would be another good choice.

I never heard of tanksize or limit issues with these guys.
They are supposed to be 2-4 inches in diameter when grown.
As far a food,
I have been mixing and adding a liter of a photo and zooplankton broth about everyother day.
Then I crank up the air intake of my powerhead for an hour or so. and shut off my proskimmer for that hour.
Thats what the LFS guru "nerd" told me was a good technique for this type of foodstuff feeding.
All my inverts and bivalves and filter feeders are thriving.
I even have new 1-2mm little duster things showing up in some spots, and small pea-sized pinkish/brown semi-transparent little sucky/squirty thingy's ( << I know, nice description) that retract or squeeze when I highbeam with my mag flashlight.
heh, its working..
