that is the WORST feeling isn't it?????

Yes it is...not something I'm proud of.
Once, when the kids were really young, Santa forgot to come

Not sure what happened, he must have fallen asleep. But kids come running in the bedroom on Christmas morning crying and screaming "santa skipped over us...he doesn't love us". OMG...

Luckily, T3 thought he heard some reindeer clatter on the roof and got kiddos back to their room (must hide under covers
) while Santa pulled off one of the quickest deliveries in his tenure to this day

As I walked in the door tonight my kids were screaming with excitement, "Phineas is coming tonight!" Phineas is our elf on a shelf and he is a big hit.
That is just awesome!!!
Just think, T3's kids are going to remember the time that Santa forgot them and the time that he wrote a note to them on the toilet paper.

(Just kidding with you man. I hope this does not sound harsher than it was meant to be)

Funny...

Okay people, where are your Elf on a Shelf pics? Things are still going good here, and I may get some more pics up soon if we do any interesting spots.

Agree bro...

I'm not going to keep posting pics if nobody else is going to participate.
The game is still going well here though...

I have several students that have parents that I work with...they have been doing the elf bit...my students have been coming in telling me what their elves have done...one has been making phone calls, one has been taking cell phone pictures, one has been hiding in the cereal cupboard, one has been hiding under pillows, one has been riding their pet boxer, one has been in the drawer where the videos are stored, one has even been hiding in the shower.
I wish I had kids, this would be a fun little activity that would keep the interest for years!!!

Cool idea! BTW - The when the Tooth Fairy did not come, (becasue I decided to not tell my parents I lost a tooth to discover the link) that was my key to Santa, and the Easter Bunny,.... and sometimes the Great Pumpkin.
