I purchased a Green Clown Goby for my nano tank on the 25th. This is my first marine fish and I am inexperienced to say the least. He was a bit stressed as he had arrived in the store that afternoon and I had picked him up that same day. I decided against feeding him that first day as I knew he would not take to feeding in such a frightened state. This morning after being off a day, I decided he may try to eat so I went ahead and started to get a meal prepared. I soaked a few pellets of Ocean Nutrion Formula One in some Kent Marine Garlic Extreme soak. I also added in a drop of Kent Marine Zoa to the pellet soak. I dropped in three pellets as close to him as possible, two of them dropped in front of him and the other floated away. He still seemed very scared and ignored the food presented to him. My Peppermint Shrimp and two Hermits quickly scurried over and devoured the food in minutes. The shrimp acted as if I had just given him a can of Redbull! He ran up the sides of the tank and swam across the surface of the water. The GCG has been hiding all day, and any attempt for me to view him results in him finding a new hiding spot. What are my options and how do I get him to eat. I acclimated him using the "Drip method" and he is the only fish in the tank. Should I go out and get some live Brine Shrimp, would that do the trick? Please help if you can, I would hate to lose the little guy!
