Ever injured by livestock?

I'm wondering if anyone who's ever received an injury from your livestock could post a quick description of what happened? I'm very curious because it seems that some of the most popular critters are the ones that are venomous or just plain sharp & pointy...not to mention the occasional unpleasant hitchhiker. Anyone with a story to share?

I was cleaning my 55 one day. I had my hand in the tank and felt a sting pulled out my hand and It was bleeding. No idea what did it.

While I was working at the aquarium, I was helping to subdue a very large female sand tiger shark. Well she didn't like that and whipped her tail around to thank me, I ended up with thirty stitches and quite a few bruises.

Reached my hand into a tank and a lion was hiding behind a rock that I was attempting to pull out. My fingers bled forever and swelled up really big.
Not to mention the PAIN!!!

:hilarious I have a Niger Trigger, about 4-5" long and the other day I was cleaning in the tank and he came up to me and bit me right on the tip of my pinky. Yikes, he's never done that before but I guess he was trying to tell me he's the boss of the tank! I was only a very small puncture but now I know those little teeth are for real, and really sharp!

Bit by my 15-inch moray. Quick bite, two teeth broke skin. I immediately soaked the wound (on a finger) in hydrogen peroxide for like ten minutes, then used neosporin. Hydrogen peroxided it four times a day for the next couple days, also kepy neosporin and bandaid on it. Never got an infection.

Sheesh, I bet the peroxide hurt more than the bite did. Still, it beats the hell out of the alternative.
My wife and I keep red-eared sliders (turtles) and while a baby RES is about as harmless as animals get in and of itself, the bacterial population that comes with them is not to be underestimated. Twice I've put a hand with broken skin into their tank without thinking about it, and both times I've gotten a nasty little infection. I hate to think how much fun it would be if I got that water in anything more than a little scratch.

I was moving the Lion out of the QT tank one day... trying to move him in to a cut off gallon jug, and I felt a spine hit my wrist... twice. Talk about lucky, it wasnt hard enough to get through my skin!
