good idea...... my LFS is trying to work something out with me.
this tank is 8.0ph....less than 30 nitrate. I add calcium and use kalkwasser drip every three days to keep the PH up. I do add strontium and iodine every two days.
i have to do 20% water changes weekly because of the wasteload. I use a hamilton 2x150 MH with 2 pc's fixture. I have a DIY 25 gallon sump w/ 2 berlin red sea skimmers working 24/7. I'm adding a 20 gallon refugium to help with the nitrates.... my goal is zero!

The tank is a 180 + ~90G sump/fuge with these inhabitants:
3" Powder Blue Tang
3" Sailfin Tang
4" Klunzinger's Wrasse
5" Black Volitans Lion
4" Humu
4" Foxface
3" Porqupine puffer
oh yeah, there are 2 brave hermit crabs that made their way into the display tank. Amazingly, they haven't been knocked off by the humu, wrasse or puffer yet.

Hello,
I have a 55 gallon tank with a clown fish, blue tang, yellow tang with major attitude, purple pseudochrome, purple lobster, and a chocolate chip starfish. Would have a lot more if we didn't lose so many along the way and if the yellow tang didn't beat the crap out of new fish.
