youre saying that Brian Wanner raped his mom... where in the heck did you get that info... he (or it as you refer to him) does not specifically write about death, drugs and suicide... because those happen to be in some of his lyrics/songs the media and religious groups choose to focus on that... he is a "Shock Rocker" just like Alice Cooper or Ozzy... his shows are incredible... and thats all they are... shows
... he is a talented artist...

I would just like to comment on this. I agree with Ruaround. It is just music. My husband writes some very grotesque things. I will not mention what, but it is graphic. He is not sick or a satanic person. It is music nothing more. We own a music store and cary a full selection of christian music and books. Too many people look at the lyrics that people write and assume they are evil or psycho. It is just music. If you watch any violent movie, or write a story about something violent, does that mean you are going to go out and commit the act? No it means you are creative and like good entertainment. Marylin Manson may not have written the lyrics he sings. I do not know if he does or not. Our singer is studying to be an architect and is a very brilliant man. On stage however, he wears a jail suit and sings the lyrics my husband writes (my husband is the drummer). We have been in the music biz for a long time. Music is entertainment, nothing more.

Manson is actually one of the few performers on my *Must See* list. He is a great showman if nothing else. I happen to like his music. Seeing short video clips of his concerts is enough to let me know that a Manson show is probably one of the most kickass visual presentations you can witness these days. Oh yeah! He is one of the "M"'s in my cd collection-
Yngwie J. Malmsteen
Marcy Playground
Marilyn Manson
Matchbox Twenty
McQueen Street
Megadeth
Men at Work
Mercyful Fate
Metallica
Midnight Oil
Monster Magnet
Mötley Crüe
Motörhead
Mudvayne

AFI sucked hard core... Davey Havok got busted not once...but twice for lip syncing!!! YES LIP SYNCING!!! Mili Vanilli style... appearently his throat was hurting him so he attempted to pull a fast one... they should have just canceled and came back another time... i would have felt less ripped off...

I used to like AFI a couple years ago but their new stuff i don't really like for some reason. i think they are from SF aka bay area.
