Wow... Usually "A. Smiff's"
and my opinions couldn't be more different, but I agree 100% as well on this. They said on the radio today, that Packer management said "Farve will not play in Green Bay or anywhere else." They went on to add that the League may be brought in and a trade forced. How does this make sense?
Favre was/still is on Green Bay. If they want to trade for him, for something ridiculous, like 1st rounds picks for the next 3 years, who's the league to force them to take something less?

I don't really believe this. This is secondhand coming from Favre. Favre still has not requested to come back to the Packers(nor did he say he did in the interview), just that management didn't envision him playing in GB or anywhere else(again secondhand from Favre). Theres nothing coming from the Packers that they would not let Favre back or that they wouldn't trade him. If it comes down to it, the league could force the Packers to allow Favre back or release him, they could not force a trade.

Farve can force the packers to honor his contract but the packers would be crazy to put him back in uniform. If they can afford to pay his salary while he sits home and watches on TV more power to them.
I think they will end up trading him.

I think so too. After this last press conference I think the situations deteriorated to the point that Favre won't ever play for GB again. I do think the Pack should welcome him back with open arms, but thats cause I think he's better then Rodgers.

hopefully this is the last we will hear of favre. I have to mute the sound if a packers game is on, because the announcers want to have a baby with favre. They talk about him, his wife, his dad who died, yet there is a football game going on.
poor brett

it is great his last pass was an interception, to go with his most interceptions in NFL history record.
look at the past few years, he was terrible. The only thing that saved him was he had a good team this past year. Nobody is going to give up much in a trade with favre who will once again retire and then want to come back and play.
Just as it is time for me to end my ramble, it is time for favre to end his hall of fame qb career.
