Well, my little clown trigger is now 2.5" and I caught him yesterday trying to bite my naso tang. He was biting at his side, did about 3 snaps before the tang ran off. No marks on the tang but the little guy is starting to get a little agressive.

When I first started this hobby the clown trigger was one the most sought after and difficult fish to keep. Times have changed as far as maintaining them but they still are a true aquarium beauty. Good luck my friend

They sure are beautiful and I would love to own one but I just know I would get the meanest one out there and I don't feel like dealing with fish fights in my tank.

Here's an update on Manny (the ct). Besides the fact that he's fat, his colors are still chaging, getting more of a black pattern on top and some black around the mouth.

If he is not afraid now, once he grows up. his tankmates will have their hands full. How is that Sohal tank working for you? Aggressive? Hardy?
Planning to do a tank and having the Sohal as my main fish and the tank will be a Red Sea biotope.

Sohal seems to fit in really well. So far both it and the clown trigger are doing good. They're not giving me a reason to worry they'll start killing off my other fish.

Well, my clown trigger and sohal tang were the hit of the Christmas party. Everyone couldn't get enough of them especially the "Sohal show"... that's when I put in a nori clip and he chases every other fish away from it. I do this for special occasions only because he can get quite nasty. Usually I break the nori sheet in small pieces, soak them a little, then dump them in the tank. And since they're so many pieces and they're all over he lets the other fish eat them too.

thats why i do otherwise the pink tail trigger eats the whole sheet before any one else can get it a bite

my local fish store always has triggers in stock
There is this extremely shy undulated triggerfish that has been in there for at least 3 months. He is very lazy, too. On occasions, he follows your finger when you put it close to the glass. I feel sorry for the feller.
I'm sort of crazy with smilies.

My old undy was very shy too... with me. But he tried to kill any fish I put in the tank with him.

Here's a new picture I just took. I'm starting to get a little worried because he's been getting into it with my Sohal lately. The other fish pretty much get out of the way but the CT stands up to the Sohal and I'm not sure it's gonna end up good for him, just based on size difference alone.
