feather duster help

i have 2 hawiian feather duster 2 weeks old 1 has closed
the opening is shut is this normal :(
all tank levels are normal.

No, it's not normal.
Something in your tank might be harassing it or it may have thrown off it's crown. They do this if they are stressed or if the food supply is low.
It will grow back provided the worm has enough energy reserves to use while a new crown grows.
If the food supply is low it will grow a smaller crown which uses less energy for food capture.

I agree that it is probably being harassed if everything else looks ok and tests are normal. You could try moving it to another spot in the tank and 1) it may not be in whatever is harassing it's territory or 2) it may like the conditions better as far as water movement etc.

Nothing of what you have should harrass it. They may be cleaning the outer tube. BUT do you not have any fish in the tank? I see all cleaners in your list.
My first feather duster didn't open up for about a week while he was adjusting and attatching himself to a rock.
How long has he been closed?

well it been 3 days now no activity with the feather duster
it has fallen over into the sand , i have no fish in the tank now there coming tomorrow.
