Feather Duster Placement?

Hi, Just added a feather duster today, just wondering on where to place it, what type of current do they like?

They can be placed in the rock or substrate, my feathers seem to like the rock better, just carefully wedge them in between rocks and thier "roots" will kinda grow into the rock. They like medium current.

What kind of Duster?
Some species like Rock some are found buried in the sand, some must be attacked to a rock. Generally the more compact the feathers are the more current they prefer.

Im not really sure, they are dark and light brown with white,
any ideas?

That sounds like a hawaiin feather duster to me.
