feather dusters ?

Featherdusters will attach to a piece of rock(that's what I have always seen). They like good current. Lighting doesn't matter, since they are strictly filter feeders and lack zooxanthellae.

You just plant the feather duster either in a rock or in the sand, but the important thing is to give it a good footing. It requires little (low) lighting and you should already have good circulation in your water.

By "planting" - do you mean cover the feather dusters foot in the sand? Or place it near LR? Or just set it in there?

There are many species of featherdusters. They fill every niche from turbulent tide zones to volcanic vents miles deep. I'll need a little more into to help you.

I just got 3 feather dusters from SWF.com and i just put one in between my rock's, one "leaning" on a rock and again another between a rock. The first and last one attached their foot to the rock. And the second one attached itself to the rock from the "side" of its tube. Its a little wierd looking duster and has feather's on both side's.

yeah, it will attach itself to anything that it is touching. so, basically just stuff it somewhere where it won't move around and in a week or two it will be there permanently (unless you want to rip it apart to get it off)
