Feeding my long tentacle anemone, i need some help?

ive been feeding him two cubes a day of brine shrimp and he still goes thin on me and my water is perfect so i know that it is food related, any suggestions on what i could get to feed him?

Lose the brine....Try raw shrimp from the grocery store...cut up into small pieces
or scallops....
What do you mean ...goes thin?

I think you are referring to it deflating...That is normal..they do that when they expell waste....they should deflate periodically, and reinflate shortly thereafter

Try the shrimp like Meowzer said and make sure you wash it well before giving it to you LTA or you can risk a bacterial infection. You do not need to feed them everyday. Once a week should be sufficient. Feding it once a day may foul your water. When I had mine I feed it once every two weeks and it got huge.

Just out of curiosity...what tank is this in? what lighting do you have? and how old is the tank?
How long till you can get shrimp? It should be fine for a few days..or a week...rememberthey do not have to eat daily.

this is in the older 55 gallon and i really dont know when i can get to buy some shrimp, and the parameters on the 55 are perfect so far. so any suggestions?

LFS should have larger size krill. I know I have a package of descent (not huge but nothing small like brine) sized krill that are whole pieces.

I don't think the OP drives...lol...forgive me if I am wrong op...

BUT if you were able to run out and get shrimp, I think you would have already...right?

OP can drive? Then how would they get other shrimp, or the anemone in the first place? If they ordered it in then you can always order in krill :p
Maybe I'm just confused.

Feeding it everyday is not good for the anemone especially two cubes. The anemone consumes more energy than it gains trying to expel all the waste. If your lighting is not very good than feed it two or three times a week but small pieces. If you have quality lighting then it will feed more from the light and doesn't need to be fed near as often.
