Feeding Pink Tip Anemone

I have tried feeding my Pink tip anmone siliver sides a few times now and usually find the half with the head in the tank. This am when I got up both halfs are back and I know she took them when I fed her yesterday. Plus she appears to be standing on her head, with her foot up. Am I doing something wrong when I feed her. Maybe to much at once or smaller pieces? Please advise, Thanks.

How long have your had the anemone? What size tank,wattage of lights? Is her foot puffed up like a balloon? Is she floating/moving around the tank alot? Try feeding smaller portions. Cut the silver side in 1/2 inch or smaller pieces. Only feed one piece a week. Is she is not wanting the silversides than maybe try mysis or krill

I feed my anemones scallops....buy a frozen bag for $5, and it contains about 100
I just thaw, and break off a small enough piece, and place it on the anemone....I have never had one spit out
p.s.....my anemones did not care for silversides

My tank is a 80 gallon, was set up for years when I bought it and have had it about nine months. Seems to be cyclying well, water is good, some algae going on including bubble algae. The anemone seems to do very well puffs up during day, shrinks down at night and poops. Seems to like it when I feed it frozen brine shrimp, but doesn't seem to take to the silver sides that I hand to it and it puts in mouth but doesn't keep it down. She moved around some at first but has settled down in one spot. Yes her foot was blown up and on top and tenacles down. Seems to be going back and forth between enlarging tenacles and foot.
