Hey Everyone!
Thought I would post some pictures on where I stand with my tank. From my previous posts you guys talked me into getting a sump/refugium but I asked for help from my lfs guy to build it for me.(I do not trust my ability to put anything together with tools!) So for the time being during my cycle I will be using the canister filter and will cycle the refuge separately when it comes in.
As of now I have 44lbs of LR and 25 pounds of the fake "live sand" in the tank. Once the tank cylces I will be adding the 10lbs of live sand from my three gallon plus an extra 5lbs of sand from my lfs when I pick up my sump.
For lighting I have a Zoo Med 2 bulb T5 unit. Which is fine for me since I only plan on keeping softies but if anyone could chime in on what items could be kept under this type of lighting I would appreciate it!
So day 1 pics! Also I apologize for the quality since these were taken with my phone. Just moved into our new house and haven't found the camera yet!
