Few ?'s about Chromis and stock

Ok so I set up a 65g last spring, cycled for a month or so and went out looking for fish.
Did some research and read "Green Chromis, great for noobs" "green chromis really hardy" and the such.
7 months later after one restocking I'm back down to 2 Chromis. Started with 5 lost 3, put in 3 more, lost 3 again (2 new ones and one old one) Am I doing something horridly wrong with them? None of my other fish are dying at that right (and by that I mean at all.)
My levels are
Ph 8.1
Amm 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10-20
SG 1.024-25
Also right now my stock is
Chromis-2
benggai cardnal-5
Blue spotted watchman Goby
Ocellaris clown
Melanurus wrasse
Flame Angel
Emerald Crab
nassarius snail-4
Turbo Snail -5
Scarlet Skunk cleaner shrimp
Red Knobby Sea Star
I'm looking to add some yellow in a month or two (Flame just added and waiting to let him set up *I know he probably should have been last*)
I've decided no on
yellow tang (Tank too small)
Lemonpeel angel (fighing with Flame)
Any other angel (see above)
Racoon butterfly (don't feel experienced enough)
Any other butterfly (See above)
I have considered a foxface or a midas blenny... thoughts? (on the Chromis dying and/or a yellow addition to the tank?

There must be some kind of trick with blue chromis'. I have gone through about 25 chromis' trying to establish a shoal, and have 1 ( yes, one) in my 220 gal system. At least swf.com was good about honoring the warranty.

I realize my tank is more of a "medium" size.. but seriously there are NO guides anyplace that say they fight or die as much as I have experienced....

Any thoughts on stock? Is the foxface too much?

I'm not the only one to have a chromis problem. If you look around on this site you will find several postings about this, as well as several postings from folks who have had no problems at all. it's all magic
. About the foxface - they are generally sold as juveniles in the 2-5 inch range, but remember that this fish will get to be 9 inches as an adult. You have a nice selection of moderate to small fish in your system, and I think a fish this size would be outsized for the remainder of your collection. Have you considered on of the smaller tangs?

My .02. The fox is a great fish. I love mine. They don't bother a thing. Mine was in qt w 2 clowns and they were great togather and my qt is only a 20 gal.now your stock list is getting up there tho. So a fox could be a bit much. As mentioned b4 possibly a kole tang there on the smaller side. Have u looked into a purple fire fish ir mandarin. Both add lots of color and are peaceful

Pencil-Streaked Rabbitfish don't get as large as Foxface but still add a little color. Not the bright Yellow you're looking for (Clown Gobies??) but a very versatile and peaceful fish.

Here's a pic of the one I had:
