Filter too strong?

Hey all. I have an aQua clear filter that I have set up as a refugium but I am a tad concerned that the flow from this filter is too strong for my tank. It's an aQuaClear 110 for 60-110 gallon tanks and my nano is a 15gallon. Is the waterfall from this filter too much flow? Is there such a thing as too much flow in saltwater? :) If it is too much flow, is there anything I can do to make it less strong? I have tried to set up the LR so it obstructs some of the flow, but I don't think it's enough. I also have a powerhead (for the tank size) in a corner as well.
Also, kind of unrelated, does anyone know of a light that is good and strong for inverts and things that DOESNT have a blue cast? The one I have now is a zoo med coral sun actinic 420 and it's practically like a black light and I'm not really a fan. But if it's what they need, then I'll get over it.I would just like to see everythings "true colors" so to speak!

Hey... I am not particularly familiar with that brand of filter so I couldn't tell you the answer.. so I am "bumping" this post so to speak so hopefully more people will take note and answer your question.
PS- there is no posting links to competitors of saltwaterfish.com on these forums.

I plan on keeping some corals and I would like an anemone but the more I read the more I am thinking not to. Would like to get a clam too. I only plan on one or two fish. I may be weird but I really like crabs and snails. :) I used to keep seahorses years ago and know they don't like flow and I don't plan on keeping them this time. I have some nassarius snails in there now and I see their little tube things really waving in the air against the flow when they're wandering around.
And sorry about the link to the light - It's a Zoo Med Coral Sun Actinic 420. I'd like to find one that is less blue if I can. This one reminds me of a black light. I wonder what the neighboors think when they see the light coming from the room

What type of light fixture is it?? pc or t5 can you post a picture of it. If its a t5 fixture, you should be able to just change the bulb.
can you post a picture of you tank and filter

I just looked up that bulb, its a t8, a reg florecent bulb. Are you planning any corals?? t8s are not strong enough to suport them. you can however get a 50/50 bulb if you are only keeping fish and inverts like shrimp and crabs. Corallife makes one.

Its this bulb: https://www.saltwaterfish.com/Zoo-Med-Coral-Sun-420-Actinic-Flo-Bulb-24quot-17-Watt_p_4434.html It says a T8. I can change the bulb, just don't know which ones have enough light for light-loving inverts and that aren't blue-cast. Some of the descriptions don't say.
Here is my tank.

I dunno if you can tell but the LR at the top is flat and is coming out towards the front - so it should break up the flow a little but its not really. The waterfall moving the sand on the bottom of the tank and making it go onto the LR to the right.

I quess I am confused by - light loving inverts.
Shrimp and snails or coral
corallife makes a 50/50 bulb that is more white and would work well with fish, snails and shrimp, but no t8 fixture will suport coral or anemomes or clams, except maybe mushrooms.

Thanks. I'm looking into other lighting now. I just have been using the fixtures that I inherited with the tank. Are there any T5 fixtures that would support corals and anemones and clams? Or only metal halide? I've heard people starting to use LEDs too.

Flow through your tank is not the only area to consider. Flow through a refuge comes into play when you’re looking at contact time within your refuge
