finally found the drawback to a larger tank

Things disappear lol. We recently upgraded our 55 to a 150 extra high and as amazing as the tank is you never see some of hte things that are in it. for example
Sea hare have not seen it since it was introduced.

mcculloghis pseudochromis has managed to find a way to eat without ever leaving the rocks. And its an absolutely stunning fihs
and 5 peppermint shrimp although the pseudo may have a hand in that. BUT all my aptaisia appears to be gone for the first time in forever!
 
Anyone else have these issues?

LOL.....I have a 225G...and yup...sometimes you see things....sometimes you don't
 
and NOTHING for a big tank is low in cost

150 is as big as I can go without something custom. The tank space we plan on occupying is just under 5 feet long so it has to be the biggest four footer we can fit.

i just did a 72 to a 150 high also and i know what u mean i have a panther grouper i only c at feeding time and unfortunately fighting ich on my blue hippo and he will not let me catch him to put him in my quarentine tank.
