Finally, Here It Is...

LOL, I was about to say, the panther is alread in someone elses tank. I gave him away last weekend to a better suited home. The night before he was trying to eat everything he swam by so he had to go ASAP. I even drove an hour to meet the people to give the fish to them.

I seriously Lol'd when I saw the Panther in that stocklist. It was like one of those old multiple choice questions 'Which of the following does not fit?'

But if all questions were that easy nobody would have test anxiety!

Ok I'm bumping this back up for an update. I still haven't gotten around to taking some new pics of the rockwork but somehow when I rearranged it, it seemed to give them twice as many holes/caves to swin into and around so I think they like it better.
The Flame Angel died. It had been acting kinda sluggish for a week or so. It did not have any spots or anything on it at all, so I'm not sure what the deal was. I was told the place that I bought that particular fish from is not a great place to buy fish. I was told from numerous people they boost their tanks up and most of their fish die rather quickly, whatever that means? I have been checking my water daily and the highest reading I have had was 0-0-10 and that was right before a water change. I guess between the 120lbs of LR, skimmer and canister (which I have been changing the media every week) I am keeping the tank as clean as possible. I did add a few neon gobies, and I had been looking for them everywhere almost daily (between about 10-12 stores) and one store got a few in so I figured I better get them while I can. I also added a few cleaner shrimp too since I was advised that would probably be a good idea since I did not QT the fish before putting them in the tank.
Any suggestions from you guys now?

sorry to hear about the flame angel man, it sucks losing a fish, for sure.
so whats ur stock list looking like now? and what kinda direction are you wanting to go with your tank? are you looking at possibly changing out the canister for a sump/fuge set up? it will make things easier from what ive read on here LOL but u know how folks on here are LOL but, they are easier to clean, thats for sure :p
and if you are looking at adding another angel, have you looked at the pygmy cherubs? from all ive been able to research, they are one of the hardiest of the dwarf angels, im wantin to say it was teresaQ who got me hooked on those guys. lol

This tank will NOT ever have a sump setup. I am going to run a skimmer and keep the canister because I am not going to alter the stand to run a sump. I will run a sump on my next tank though. I actually saw one this weekend that I was going to buy but then I decided that even though it was about 3' deep it was still only 4' long and I want my next one to be longer than 4' to allow for the growth of the fish. The Flame and the Coral Beauty I had got along well so I don't know if I got lucky there or what but I will probably just get another flame later on. I did setup a 20G QT tank though.

for your next tank, id recommend getting a 5-6' long tank, jess, my gf, decided this weekend that our twin tanks im building next summer arent long enough, they were gonna be 52", and now they're gonna be 60" long, by 24" wide by 18" high LOL 112 gallons, but oh well, who am i to argue with a bigger tank, right? LOL

The good thing is I am going to incorporate the new tank into my house that I am picking out as we speak. That way I can brace the flooring and such ahead of time.

You are one of the best new people I have seen in a long time with taking the information given and developing a plan of your own. Well done.
Now one last thing, do some research on the cleaner wrasse. They will normally die in captivity and are one of the critters better off left in the ocean.
Can't wait to see some pictures.
I hear this alot now that I am a part of a site that has a wealth of feedback from real people. I never heard this from the places I looked before getting mine. I've had mine in my tank since Feb. 2008. Is this considered long ?

I don't know how you couldn't be. He has tons of personality, single handidly prevents an algae outbreak and is awesome to watch. He changes colors and hides on rocks and blends in so well that other fish will stop and sit on him.

Out of all the fish I have the cleaner wrasse probably eats better than anything in the tank. He eats everything in the tank literally. Algae sheets, flakes, shrimp and pellets.

Exactly. I transported all the LR and LS that was almost 2 years old in a bin submerged in water that came out of the tank, so there shouldn't have been any die off. I also brought most of the water from the old tank with me so I did not have to mix ALL new water.
