ok lol, im not to worried about that i put that lr putty on its piece of rock and then to the bigger rock so it shouldnt go anywhere

Yes it’s most likely shedding; all porites species shed their surface layer with a waxy substance. Its how they rid themselves of algae and waste.
What is interesting is that this shedding coincides with the full moon.BTW meowzer is known to be very difficult with a full flow

thanks, ive been stressing like crazy since i got these new corals, every little abnormality bothers me, every day when i look at my pulsing xenias and they arent out i worry a little more, but i guess im impatient
