and it was a DOOZIE!!!! Tornado sirens went off 3 times, trees down, lines down, hail, inches of rain. Even a police station a fews miles from here had to put a call out for help. Their station got hit from something and had to enlist the help from the County police
Gotta love spring/summer in St. Louis.

Glad you're okay though......I knew those storms that went thru here last night were gonna raise hell in your direction

holy smokes they did. Like you, we have been through many many of these. This afternoon this one seemed and felt different. Sure enough it was. The tornado touched down a few miles east of here. 3 basement runs in as many hours got a little old. I wouldn't let my daughter leave for work until things cleared, she said her boss was fine when she showed up about 15minutes late. (she texted him) But who the heck is gonna show up to eat during a tornado warning, sighting, touch down? One good thing out of all of this, the air feels sooooo clean and clear. The past 2 weeks we have all been choking on piles of pollen. Mother Nature has a strange way of doing business.

First big rain down here on the Gulf too and definitely glad all the pollen has been washed out. Have to use the wipers on the car to clear the windshield just from the pollen. Mobile Bay is quite murky/disgusting now though

the past few weeks every time I got into my car I had to use my wipers to clear my window of pollen. Even when it was in the garage (door open). Always a HUGE puff of green/yellow powder

We got a lot of rain and thunder but luckily nothing major. I was watching it all day and I guess MS got the worse of it especially Yazoo. Now they are saying MS was hit by an an EF4 which is strong.

God I love Maryland. Some snow some bugs every 17 years and a little rain. Earth doesnt move. No funnel cloud of doom is gonna eat my house. No hurricanes come this far up north and this far inland. Plus we have Crabs. YUM!
