First cars?

turned 16 and the only car my parents had for me to drive was my dads Mercedes Sl-600 1994. It had a v-12 with only 65kmiles. That was like 2 years ago. I loved that car it ran like the wind and i always enjoyed racing the old guys around town, never lost once. Best was the 50 year old and his wife in a new charger, he tried to follow me haha.
then for graduation i got my own car for college, i got a 2005 IS300. It only had like 12k miles on it and had side skirts put on and a bigger muffler. Its loud but not annoying loud like most ricers. I love that car, and it beat an STI so :p

My parents bought me a 71 Chevelle the summer after I turned 16. It was a really nice car! Burnt orange with a chocolate brown vinal top. 350 4 barrel, positive traction, duel exhaust. IT WAS BAD ASS!! My Dad bought new tires for it a few weeks after I had gotten it, because my Mom was after him about the ones it came with, they had a few miles on them. Any way, he spent more money on the new tires then he wanted, they were BF Goodrich, 70's on the front, 60's on the back. I then proceeded to burn the back tires off of that car in about 2 weeks. Needles to say Dad wasn't very proud of me, took the car away, put it in the garage, and made me buy it from him. I wasn't aloud to have posession until I paid it off in full. At the time I though my Dad was the biggest jerk on Earth. I look back and I'm glad he did that... That car got treated ALOT better after I had to buy it. Life lesson learned.
I passed that same lesson to my kids. I bought their cars, and they paid me back. My sons still has his first car, 65 Mustang. My Daughters first car still sits in my yard in the winter where she stores it, 96 Star Fire Vert. My kids were way better teens than I was!

Wish I still had that Chevelle, Someone T boned me at a light and totaled it. My wife and I had to borrow one of my Father in Laws vehicles until we could save enough $$ to get another car. Ended up with a 69 Buick Electra 225. That car was HUGE!!

I love 71 Chevelle's! My ex and I had a 71 SS convertible, painted it bright yellow with black SS stripes and black ********. I called it the Bumble Bee :)
