I am going to buy a trap....IDC anymore about the price
BUTTTT..all I seem to find is this one...it's $50, and I just want to know if anyone has had any experiences with it

I particularly do not like that trap because the angle makes the door slow to close if it closes as all

I saw a homemade fish trap on the site...a litter bottle was used and the top part cut an inverted...$50.00 to catch a fish seems excessive.
I would get a big net and leave it in the tank until the fish get used to it and show no fear...don't feed the fish a couple of days, then put food in it...when a devil swims in you draw it out fast. But you would have to stand right over it when you bait it.

I have tried all that Flower...that is why I am soooo frustrated...At this point $50 would be well worth it to get rid of these beasts......I'd

If the litter bottle didn't work, I doubt this one would either...unless the bottle failed to hold together. Then a better made trap would make sense. LOL...did you put a pic of yourself in there or a fake finger??? LOL

I would try the hook....you can buy very, very small ones on about a 6" piece of fishing line and bend/clip the barb down. I fish alot but do not eat fish...so its catch and release in our house. For that small moment he is on the hook it is quite humane. He will slide right off in the bag and out the door he goes!

The 2 liter bottle does work!It took 2 days ,but i got my damsels out.You will probably have to release a couple other curious fish from time to time, but it did work.Good luck.
