I could get a glass cover, but I would be worried about the lack of oxygen exchange.
I have a glass cover on mine. I have had it on since we got the hqi lights. We have had the lights for over a year now. It dose not cover the tank 100% tho. So that way it still gets air.. I was so worried about finding a fish on the floor or a crab. So one of the lfs had a cover made for my 24 nano was only 25.00. If you want I will snap some photos so you can see...

I just got a Mystery Wrasee on Saturday. He is eating fine and being a good citizen so far. I have not gotten a picture of mine yet but here is what he looks like.

Also Lauren I have made a pond netting top for my 29 biocube. Keeps fishies in, let's gasses out, does not hamper light penetration. Here is a picure of that.

I was wrong! they do cost more. My LFS said that candy basslets are a seasonal fish, so I have to wait a few months. The fish will cost around $100.

I am able to get that guy alot cheaper than what you can get it for.... and you can get a candy basslet for 100 and I can't.... LETS MAKE A DEAL lol

Mystery wrasses are really cool! I love wrasses, but I can't keep one in this tank =(
The netting top looks good on your tank, but i think it would look funky on mine because my tank is rimless. Thanks for the suggestion though.
