I have two one each end. Might add more in between. The current bulbs are a 100watts but I also have some 21 watt ones I might use because they have a different lum then the 100wattt. Thanks. Going to switch tanks today.

Nice! I know a reefer who has the main light system that is 20 x 26Watt household 65K daylight spectrum bulbs with supplemental actinic. He keeps Anemones, SPS, LPS, Tridacna, Softies all in the same system. Also, are you going to put reflectors on your spiral bulbs? Reflectors will help a TON!

Here are a few pictures of his tank.

Ya I got the idea from a local reefer too. His tanks are nice like the ones in the pic's. Won't the reflecters make it more concentrated in one area instead of a wide area.
Tanks are switched, and fish and such are in the tube waiting. Have a tiny dribble from u.v to flex piping so I will try to get that taken care. Man this tank is huge!
I moved 95% of the water from the 84 and it filled it less then half way.
Also got 97% of the aquascaping done.
Just waiting for the water to clear up. As of now the salinty is 1.024. Will check rest of stuff later.

Yeah, but still, without a reflector, you will be wasting a ton of light. Just add a few more bulbs if there's not enough light/coverage?

If I add anymore then I will need to rework the middle light fixer so for now I guess I have to live with it. Thank CK

I always wondered about that. I don't dare start a thread and ask though!!! You'll have 20 people screaming that you can only keep Anem's, SPS, LPS etc... with a kazillion watt MH. So going by the above statement CK... say for instance someone has a tank that will be ohhhhhh 19" deep couldn't you get away with 500-600 or so watts of 10000k PC's and keep a broad spectrum of critters?!?!?!?!?

Also two more added thougths.
Still have a little more aquascaping with the rocks with corals on them.
And
Going on with the light thing, another local reefer kept stonies, softs, clams, anemones..etc.. just under a vho ballest but the main source of light was from the bow window that it was in. Really cool system. All it had was powerhead for water movement and the thing was sparkling.
