fluffy mushroom corals

got some fluffy mushroom corals 3 weeks ago and they were really big and opened up when i got them but in my tank they are still really small as if it had been disturbed but its been left in complete peace if anyone can inform me on them and help me look after them better im sure the fluffy mushrooms and i will be overjoyed

Could be the change in light from the old tank to the new. If where you place the coral in your tank has more light, then the coral does not need to puff-up as much. So if it is right under the MH try moving it away some and it should open up more.
If the coral is getting blasted by to much water flow it will try and shrink down. So a move to less flow may allow it to open up more.

Most corals only need to be temperature acclimated....I fully acclimate mine regardless
BUT...the important thing here is what GEO asked about the lighting.....corals also have to be acclimated to different lighting
what lighting WERE they under, and what lighting are they NOW under?

I drip acclimate anything that goes in my tank. Also when I by a coral I note what kind of lighting and water flow it is under at the lfs.
