Could be pop eye or I believe sometimes with new fish it could be a sign of ich. Garlic soak the food and use vitamins and see if that helps clear it up. Do you have any pictures?

Can you post a picture....I don't think a foggy eye is associated with ich....
BUT sometimes they are caused by a scratch, OR a disease......w/o seeing it, it is hard to say...also do you have a QT tank if you need to treat it???
ANother thing......what size tank? How old? water parameters??? tank mates?

I thought I may have read something on a past post that Beth had about new fish with cloudy eyes could be ich related. And he said the fish was a month old so I figured I'd throw it out there

+ one on the scratch, if no other signs and he or she is still eating I would wait, should clear up in a couple a days, then you'll see the scratch. Garlic and vitamins never a bad thing to add to food, use fresh on the garlic the bottle stuff is expensive and lost its nutrients.

well the eye has been that way for 2 weeks now. I don't think that it looks like popeye and he has no signs of ick.

The ich treatment you use is not effective, so don't bother with it.
Is this just one eye? Sounds like a bacteria infection, likely due to netting the fish. Try doing small water changes over the next five days. Feed the fish 3 time a day with food that has been soaked in fresh garlic juices, not bottled garlic.

yes it is in one eye but the fish was not netted at the lfs it was up into a cup puffers don't like to be in open air. I will start the garlic but also stay with the ich med. I can see small white spots.

By any chance did you read the thread where I had a whole tank wiped out by using "Ich meds"
Do it right, I'm afraid you will be sorry later if you don't :(

Definitely going to have to agree with them no-ich doesn't work. Do hypo treatment for the puffer they don't usually do well with copper treatment.

here i just want to share my problem which is related to foggy eye, and couple of days back my doctor told me that I might have TB in my eye and gave my TB medicitaions. I took TB spit test, Xray and CT scan. All test were negative. Also eye liquid test - also negative. Still recommended me TB medication. By the way I have RA for about 15 years and was on Humira 1.5 years. I don't have any pain last 3 years and all RA factors are normal. Because of Humira Doctors think that I might have TB in my eye. I have TB medications more than month. Unfortunately no change with my implammation, blurriness. Last Friday the doctor said me that "So sorry for my eye. TB was his best gess". He doesn't know what to do. I really want to meet someone who can diagnose my eye problem.
