So I might get my first fish today, there is a small CUC in there now.
Anyways im thinking of maybe putting a clown in there, what would be a recommended food that I could start feeding it and that could carry over to other fish that I get down the road? Also how often should I feed it?
Finally though out the summer each week there will be two days back to back each week where I will be gone, are they going to be ok?

You could start with frozen mysis, or a marine cuisine...For one fish I would only feed a small amount of the cube...some people only feed their fish every few days...I feed mine daily...
Just break off a small pinch of the cube....if you see that some is not eaten...next time do a little less...what is your cuc?

Variety is the key to feeding saltwater fish. When you get to your LFS, look for a frozen mixture like formula 1 or marine cuisine.
Also, the fish will be absolutely fine for the 2 days you are not there. No worries.

Very good to hear, currently my cuc is one nas, two turbos, and two others that start with an A. Im planning on more in the future depending on how messy the fish is.

The astrea snails are very good glass cleaners...but when they fall they usually can not turn themselves over....IDK WHY..LOL...So I always flip mine back on the right side.
Just a thought
