If it is, I'll pass it on...
REMINDER.... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.
....... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years..You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.. You cannot call from a different phone number..
Here's what little research I've done. The number is the same as the bottum of the page...
Just FYI...

They've been doing this for quite some time now. We called that number like a year ago... it doesn't protect ya.

Well that kinda sucks. I called it a few months ago and thus far, I haven't gotten any calls from anyone that I didn't give my # to myself, ie the cc companies trying to get us to sign for a "new and improved" card!

I was hoping it was cause I called that I didn't get the solicitors... But if they call... I will handle them!

I really have to wonder how many Telemarketers will be dumb enough to call a cell line.
A trick they are using on land lines is to get you to take a short survey. Then then call back based on your prior contact. I have no mercy on the people calling. I set up an appointment for them to come demonstrate their new air purifier. Not really sure where the address I told them I moved to is. I am a little surprised they didn't call and ask for the right one.

heres a thought.. wouldnt the telemarketor be putting themselves into a position for a large lawsuit? they could possible put you into harms way by calling and bugging you while driving causing a accident. now before you say well its your fault cuz you answered the phone. its kind of along the same lines as sueing McDonalds for making there coffe to hot

i can see some one trying it... %%
Coral Keeper those were great!

Yes and no. The McDonalds case, as I've read, had some grounds to it (pun intended
). "Hot" coffee is only supposed to be ___ number of degrees. The coffee that burned the person who sued was found over that temperature and that's why they won.
While it won't be too long before we have a national no cell while driving law
, if you're in an area that has a law, there's really no way around it. You're not suppose to be on the phone. Even if it says "President Obama"
The day we got the landline in our new place, we had a telemarker call. Not joking. A few weeks later, after some 'choice' words, we don't get calls anymore....

I've had both of my cellphones on the do not call list since it first came out. I've never received a call on them once. Not sure if that's why or not.

You put them on the regular DNC registry?? Not the one through this #?

Also, it may help to tell the caller that this is a company/business provided cell phone and to remove this number from their list.
P.S. non-profits and political calls aren't included or restricted in the national lists

The lid wasn't on tight on the coffee and it was wayyy too hot. The lady received 3rd degree burns on her "private" area and she won basically enough to cover her medical expenses not the full amount.
The full story really didn't interest the journalist covering it and prefered the large $$ sounding story lawsuit instead.
and now you know... the rest of the story.

.
I heard her speak about it on a radio interview. I used to correct people also, but I felt like it was me against the world... I'm glad you said it. Considering the circumstances and all the skin graphs that she underwent, I totally believe she deserved what ever she got. But your right, she was in the hospital for days and most of the money went there...

I spill coffee on myself all the time, and I have the shirt stains to prove it, but I never needed a skin graph!
