I happen to agree that the lionfish does look a bit large in that tank, fishman. BUT.... the picture was taken at an angle....and it is really hard to tell. The other thing is, as long as you are willing to be responsible about him going back to lfs or upgrading then that is your business of when you do it as long as his health is not at risk.
I hate to say it all.....but ALL marine life we keep are CONFINED...so if it is not fair to confine them we ALL need to throw them back in....but of course that is not going to happen...so we do the best with what we have. That lionfish could have found a much worse home, but he seems very content in that tank....as long as he was taken out of the ocean, we all to some degree make him less "happy" as we do with all our fishies....Fishman, I know how it is with the algae on the glass, I gotta do some scrapin' this weekend myself...I think your tank looks nice from what I can see....FishKiller, go find another thread to kill.....apparently you don't belong here....next time use my constructive critisiscm and think before you post on HOW you tell someone about what you think, it did come off not nice!
Well, said! I have a very similar views (

Our entire hobby is based on keeping marine life in the confines of our home aquariums. Let's work together to support our friends here. IMO, positive, constructive advice will do more than all the critical stuff... Sure, a 75 gallon tank is probably pushing the limits just a bit, but Fishman will take care his issues as they occur. For now, he appears to have things under control.
