not to hijack your thread, I am wanting to know as much possible about this coral as well due to me wanting to get one. The only difference is that I have T5 lighting.
Sorry again Debbie

Nemanzophyllia sp. are beautiful coral. I had one that I traded in when redoing my tank. Low to moderate light, low flow. Supplemental feeding once in a while. Very easy coral in my opinion.
To answer if you light is enough can you tell us more about. How many watts, what tank you have, how many bulbs etc.

Hey I don't mind you jumping in to find out more about this coral at all. That is how we all learn in this hobby.....

I am looking at a frag of this coral.
My tank is only a 5 gal nano with 18 watts pc 50/50 lighting. I would like to add something else besides softies in this tank that would not bother my other corals.

It would probably be okay but I have never seen one small enough that I would feel comfortable with it in a 5 gallon. Have you?

If you cannot post it in this thead it is not allowed in PM's either. Have you seen one at a local fish store? That would be a good place to look at one to get an idea on the size.

Okay I did not know that about PM thanks....

I have never seen this coral in real life.
So with that, besides mushrooms, zoas etc what other corals can you suggest that would do well with my type of lighting. I am looking for something different??

Don't get me wrong I am not saying toss out the idea of the fox if you can find a smaller pc. Just want to make sure you don't order one on line and have it so big that it won't look good in your tank.
Have you any Ricordea florida or Ricordea yuma?

Colt coral would be to large for that size tank. Xenia would fill the tank out but I fear that it would grow fast and block light for other corals.

They don't carry those.
I just read on their site that the Xenia's require High Intensity florescent or MH lights so that puts me out right??

No doesn't put you out but as jerry said Xenia will overgrow everything in a short period of time. Tis like a weed.
