Maybe we could start a conversation like what's the biggest waste of money you've made and the best investment you've made. Maybe the contest will go quicker. I'll start.
The biggest waste was having the tank drilled with two 1" bulkheads instead of two 1-1/2" holes. Not enough drain to handle the pumps and had to add on an overflow box.
The best investment we've made is a chemical dosing pump for a chlorination unit at a garage sale for $5.00. We've got two 5 gallon buckets on the side of the tank. Day top off dosing is RO/DI water, night top off dosing is Kalk. Fill them every three days or so and don't have to constantly watch the levels for evaporation.
