Frog Spawn growth question

Attached are 2 pics of my F.S....It has 2 heads, and 3 empty "perches" (whatever they are called) Will the F.S. eventually spread to the empty places, or will it grow other ones??

It will start a little small head somewhere else wherever it chooses. The empty "perches" are just dead spots, but may still be living tissue inside which may sprout a little head/stalk of it anywhere along the skeleton.

Well That particular F/S use to have 4 heads...2 died when I transferred into my tank before I had MH...and the pc lights I had were VERY inadequate for my tank....That's why I was wondering if they would always be empty, or if something might spread to it..

Nothing will spread to it on its own.
If some small buds develop below the live heads it would be good to break them off and transplant them to the dead heads.

Don't know what lights you have or what schedule but my halides go off and leave some actinics on for an hour. Look at your frog under the actinic light when they tend to deflate at the parts under the tentacles and you may see some babies. Check mine out.
