Frogspawn Question?

Ok here's one for the experts. How does Frogspawn grow. Does the skeleton or stem portion grow longer? Wider? Or does the top part just get bigger? Will it eventually grow into the rock it's on??

It will never grow into the rock it's on. The skeleton will continue to grow and split.

slowly the soft part of the coral will grow out and the skeleton will form where the soft part used to be.

Heads will split and new heads will also bud from other areas.

I've actually got one doing just that.
While the main group of heads are group up and out, the base of soft tissue and new skeleton is spreading onto adjacent rock with newly formed tiny heads sprouting from this new tissue (on the rock) rather than from the main stony body (soft tissue has to be in contact with the rock for this to occur though):

If you are talking to me, nothing if it gets anything it takes it from the water column when I feed the fish or general tank.
