First I believe there are two kinds?
I have the branching kind and initially it three heads (approx 3 months ago).
It now has 4 heads with two of them look like they are splitting.
Nope, there's onyl the branching frogspawn. There are a couple different color variations but they're smiliar, green w/ pink. You will see the tissue growing from the skeleton, and a branch will work its way out where you see the tissue head.

Once established in a mature reef, they grow very well. I frag mine a couple times a year.

mine is under lights that i have no idea what they are, and they have been growing really well for the past few months, it's opened up well and i believe grew another head, (i do know my lights are full-spectrum, thats it)
Mine was slow to grow under my MH, after I moved him about half way down within 2 weeks i noticed a spread. It does seem to take a while to completely spread though. He has been working at it for about 4 weeks.
