They are a good hardy coral. They do have long sweeper tentacles so keep them far away from other corals.

k so they have longer tentacles than just those short greenish ones you see witht the lights on?
and do u have to feed them like anemones?

Yes these things are wicked hardy... but they are fragile like you wouldnt believe. I brought one home and it busted into several pieces.. yet each piece is doing well and fine :)
Also I was told that I have a 'special' kind of galaxia that doesnt sting like normal galaxias... mine doesnt even have any long sweeper tentacles at all that come from it. Weird huh?

Well it doesnt really 'spred'. It will grow larger and most likey other coral will 'spred' to it before it grows to them :p It does reproduce in a way that could be bad news if you dont catch the babys.

Ive got one and its very hardy. Its doing well under my 4x65 PC bulbs and medium flow. They are known as agressive corals with sweepers, but keeping them under low-med flow discourages sweeper extension. Mine has spread, very slowly though. Definately a fan!
