Maybe Jerry will finally wisen up and realize the reason you bring in specialists is to specialize. Not to be his scapegoat.
Singletary and Mcdaniels are interviewing with the Vikes for OC and DC.
That would be a dream coaching staff!

Why? Singletary is overrated as a defensive coach.
Garrett will have total control and 25% of the cowboys will be released.

Mcdaniels doesn't have to worry about NASA sneaking in during the dead of night to steal his rocket science secrets either.

Well, can you think of anyone who's better suited?
He does great with the linebackers (enough to get a temporary HC job)
He was on the superbowl team in 85 with Fraiser on the bears and they have always been friends since being on the team.
And if it isn't him its going to be Pagec likley, I'll take the guy with the more experience.

They pretty much had to go with Garrett. If there is a lock out next year and the season starts up late then any new coach will have no time with his team and will be unable to implement any new schemes. Smart move is to keep your coach..even if they are not that good. Fire them if the CBA gets situated early, then get your new coach. if there is a lock out all existing coaching staffs will have a distinct advantage over all new coaching staffs. This may explain why Harbaugh is thinking of staying with Stanford for another year.

Poor Jerry, he goes and hires a coach and nobody outside of Dallas cares because Andrew Luck took all his headlines.
I'm sure "Red Headed Jesus" could do a fine job, provided they can get a better GM, unfortunately doesn't look like that's going to happen.

I would love to have McDaniels as OC, but not going to help if Tavaris or Webb are your future QB....Of course if they draft Locker (which is very possible), I become an instant Vikes fan.

Heck he's Jesus got, and a bean burritto all rolled into one. And what ticks me off more than anything, is that somehow Garrett had NOTHING to do with his offense's HORRIBLE performance in the first 8 games.

I blame Romo
....If you're not aware there is a Radio guy in Dallas that dubbed Garret, "Red Headed Jesus". I thought it was a hilarious nickname.

II have nooo respect for sports media in the dallas area. They're all a buncha idiots. I completely believe if some moron would coin him the "Red Headed Jesus." This whole situation REALLY REALLY angers me. Watching this season from the beginning of the year. The offense came out flat. Didn't score anything against the Skins, and for all intents and purposes can be completely blamed for every loss up to the giants (and including the giants). They came out flat, and were HORRIBLE offensively. Unfortunately and this is where I do agree Wade had to do, the defense quit after the "brilliantly" coached offense missed a simple blitz pickup. And Wade never got them back.
But no everywhere you turned it was all wade's fault. Garrett was as clean and pure as the wind driven snow.

Being from the area you all know more than I. But, I was under the impression much of the problem with Wade was he did not instill/insist upon enough discipline and basically lost the players.

No, no, no, it was a completely sarcastic nickname given because JJ seemed to think Garrett was "the choosen one".

Yeah, I know about the LB coach i was hoping for DC.
I think Pagec is a puppet.
Jackson is as good as gone. unless he wants to sign a FA tender as a third string QB I don't see him staying with the team.
Webb impressed the jheck out of me for how little he had to work with I felt he did a very fine job. I'd like to see him in the QB competition in training camp.
I'm presonally hoping we draft pouncey or weisneski with our first if Mallet isn't there when we pick. IMO he is the only NFL ready talent coming out since luck is staying in school.
Locker and Newton are nice picks, but not that high IMO.
