obama came out today and said " i feel your pain" what an insult.i ran my bobcat skidsteer for 5 hours today and it took $40 to refill it.i would like to take the bobcat and run him over.didnt moooshelle just go to Aspin last week.all these vacations and they feel our pain.what a pos

when i write i would like to .it is not a direct threat .big difference so i stand by it
you are entitled to your opinion but as the economy has gotten worse,people losing their cars and homes i see alot of vacations .really how many vacations do you or any middle class people go on? i havent been on one in a few years.i am self employed and put alot more than 40 hours a week in. so saying he does so much isnt an excuse especially when other people pay for it.a president cant work for 4 or 8 years? i would work 150 hours a week for 4 or 8 years knowing i was set for life after.

I really don't give 3 shiites what you write. I have seen in the news several folks who were just venting that got prosecuted with no direct threat. I couldn't care less what you say about him. I won't try to be nice like that again.

If Michelle wants to take her girls skiing in Aspen, that's her perogative. I don't know how much of her personal finances go towards these family vacations they take, but being the family of the POTUS has its perks. You can't chastise her for the costs that are incurred for travel and security. That's goes along with the position. Would you prefer she fly Coach and stay at the local Motel 6 when she vacations? You have to realize the potential if either Michelle or one of her two girls were kidnapped or abducted while out on one of these jaunts. I don't see Michelle Obama as one of those President's wives that takes advantage of the available spending perks all women in that position have had for decades. They photographed her the other day wearing a dress form Target that retails for $29.99. They says she shops there regularly. She could just stick Vera Wang on a private retainer if you prefer, but I think she recognizes how the economy is affecting the lower and middle class budgets.

What gets me is the blatant hypocrisy of the left. Bush took so much crap for golfing while we had soldiers deployed he quit golfing. By October 2010 0bama had already played more golf than Bush did in 8 years. Could you imagine the headlines from the DNC propaganda machine aka Mass media if it were a Republican taking these lavish vacations with these unemployment rates? Bush was attacked for the number of vacations he took at his ranch which cost the taxpayers very little.

This is such a stupid argument that "the number of vacations he took at his ranch which cost the taxpayers very little". If by that you mean he didn't pay a nightly rate to stay there because he owned it, then yes, you are correct. However, the majority of the costs incurred when a president is traveling is Air Force One, and all the security that goes along with that, and wherever it is he is staying. So in essence, Bush probably cost more just based on the pure number of times he was in flight and secure.

A tripling in cost, is inflation and todays cost of Jet fuel? Please explain that.
Those air force one costs are PER HOUR. Bush was 56,000 in 2004. Obama is 170K in 2011. Obamas Hawaii trip cost almost 4 million. alone. That is just the flight. Factor in everything else and it tops 4 million easily. 1 Trip.
Like I said, I do not begrudge Presidents their vacations. They are never truly on vacation. But to try and blame some lavish expenses on inflation....that is a bit much.

Seriously? Advance teams sent out months in advance to set up security. Installation of security system and removal once the first family leaves. Room rent at 5 start resort for security and staff etc. Bushes ranch was a known location with a security system already installed and the security people stayed right on the ranch. i signed up for obamas news letter to get a laugh.they sent me an email asking to donate $1 for the two term election.
they wrote that romney is meeting up with the koch brothers and said they are scheming to raise gas prices to get richer.odd gas has sky rocketed the last 3 years.

Biden was just here. Had a fundraising dinner about half a mile down the road from both of my businesses. He flew in during rush hour, they closed down the freeway for 2 hours. Stayed at the dinner for 45 minutes. Then left, closing down the freewaYS AGAIN. I wonder how much that little 45 minute speech at a dinner earned him.

Bionic you want to know how much Obamas Economic Policies have COST ME. I JUST SOLD MY LAST SWF tank. THATS RIGHT I am out of keeping SWF for a while I CAN NOT AFFORD IT rigth now and my wife just got a huge raise at work. I had to sell my 150 last Summer and my Nano Cube in the Fall. I held on to my 44 as long as Possible but I could not keep it with the expense of all the water Changes needed with Salt and the Feed needed for just 5 Fish in the tank. Right now my fish consit of a 55 Freshwater I got for 100 Bucks off of Craigslist That is IT. I went from over 200 Gallons of SWF to Fresh water in less than a year and I still can barely SURVIVE.
How much does each trip cost the US Taxpayers when Moochelle takes teh Girls away from the Whitehouse. About 10-15 MILLION Each time Double if Obama himself is with them. Now when Bush was President there was no Extra Secruity needed as his Ranch was in a remote area and had one road in and out. BTW they do not just rent one room they rent the Floor above and BELOW the President when he stays in a HOTEL.
