No, I was more upset than the lady. She said they had 5 babies and the racoons and coyotes got the other three. I offered to pay her for them but she said they usually take them to swap meets and have to give them away for free just to get rid of them. She was just glad he didn't kill the parents- the babies couldn't fly that good yet.

I guess I could go dig up the dead ones for you.
I think the parents need to get busy again and lay more eggs. I'm am sure someone around Jersey probaly has the same problem with noone wanting peacocks. The females are quite ugly. It's the males that have the color and are probably in more demand.

omg, that's amazing... i have one of my dog (well not my dog anymore since i married joe... it's actually my family dog, but she lives with my folks...) looking like a demon on halloween.
