a few months ago my brother started to get really scared at night because he "sees" a ghost. He described it as a man wearing a black overcoat type thing and he says it plays the fiddle at night. I diddnt beleve him untill recently. We wanted to sort of test the ghosttry to get an evp on his ipod touch's voice recorder. We tried this and we played it back and very clearly in the background static you can hear the word "evil", after asking it if it was good or evil. it gets scarier. two nights ago between 3-4am my brother said he saw the ghost again so i went in the room and prayed outloud and told the spector to get out and that it wasnt welcome here. (a few hours back i through a little red light bulb into the closet for some reason) A few minutes later the bulb flew out of the closet and hit my fish tank and broke. (there now ot has fish in it)
What do you think? is my room haunted, or can you explain a flying light bulb?
Another ghost expirience for my family was two years ago when my sister started to go to ferris state university. She was living with her room mate and the first half of the year was fine. Then one morning they noticed the tv remote was missing. They found it under a pillow in a chair under there loft and just forgot about it. So they got some velcro and made a little holder for it on the wall so they wouldnt loose it agian. Sometime the next week or so they were woken up by the tv turning on to that white static channel and the remote was off the wall and in the chair again. Then they got kind of creeped out. The next few nights the same stuff happened over and over. Then it started getting worse. Hair pins were flying accross the room and the tv kept doing the same thing all around 3am. Then one night the words "ladies Room" appeared above the bathroom in glow in the dark paint. (which was prabably a prank or something). This got worse untill they started sleeping with the lights on. That didnt even help. The mirror on the door started wobbling at night. The little vanitly mirrors would tilt and tip over. Then my sister asked the RA about the room and they acted like something was up (but we never figured it out). My sister got some holy water from church and sprinled it around the room and prayed constantly and it got better. But never went away. To this day my sister still sleeps with the lights on in her room.
Is it haunted?

my brother swears up and down that his friends place is haunted.
He has spent the night over there on several occasions and felt rooms get really cold and things like that. But one time the Mother and Father of my brothers buddy were having an argument yelling back and forth and a bottle of Jack Daniels that was sitting on top of the fridge flew across the room and busted on the wall about 8' away. nobody within several feet of the fridge.
Needless to say, I don't go over there.
When I was about 22 my GF's best friend was dating this rich dude that had a cabin WAAAY out in the sticks in Wisonsin and he invited us out there for a get together just the 4 of us. While we were there he told us all kinds of wierd stuff about things moving around the cabin on thier own. Then he tells me that several times in the middle of the night he sees a guy in a top hat sitting in a chair floating outside his bedroom window. Wouldn't you know it that's the room me and my GF stayed in. We never saw anything, which is odd, becuase after the story I didn't sleep much at all, just kept staring at the window all night lol.

I'm a very evidence based type person. It's probably why religion never came easy for me. But working in a hospital I've seen and heard things I can't explain. I have no idea how to logically explain some of the occurances. But sometimes "things" happen, that I have no doubt of.

I am working as a data encoder, we were out during breaktime, we left our two co-workers, when we came back, they told us that they heard someone typing on keyboard, but no one was there. I didn't believe them. Then last week, Monday, there were only two of us, we heard a sound like typing but it's just hitting keys one at a time, it sounds like the space bar. Then the next we heard it, hitting many keys like a real typing :( that was really scary...

lived it most of my life. Nothing violent, just lots of little things. I will tell you that when my grandma passed away, she was NOT happy we were cleaning out and selling the house. I spent a lot of time in the house by myself working, and saw and heard things for a few months. Not one person believed me. One night I had several family members over to look at some things before a sale and finally they heard a few of the things I had been hearing. I thought my sister in law was going to run out of the house.

In a few months time the house had: Bee infestation, gas leak, fleas in basement (no dog), 2 water leaks (1 was from the kitchen faucet blowing off across the room and water all over kitchen) that one stumped us the most because the house was 130 years old and the water pressure was about ZERO.
fun interesting stuff. I don't have a problem as long as it isn't violent/mean stuff.

That's creepy, Hunt!
I was asleep one night and someone started nudging my leg really hard, like they wanted to wake me up. I sat up in bed and when I opened my eyes, no one was there. The next day, I was lying in bed, trying to fall asleep, when all of a sudden my doorknob started to jiggle a bit. I thought that it was probably my dad as he usually always checks on everyone before he goes to bed. Well, my door jerked open a little, but not enough for me to see outside the door, so I got up and looked in the hall...it was pitch black and everyone in my house was sleeping. About a week later a barely audible voice called my name and told me to look up. that thing was relentless and kept telling me to look up, so I looked up, but there was nothing there. A lady who claims to be a psychic told me it was the spirit of an old man and that he had just died and was hanging around me because his wife was clairvoyant and he didn't want to spook her. She also said he liked me because I reminded him of his granddaughter. She said she'd tell him to leave me alone, and as crazy as it sounds, I haven't had an issue ever since! Thank God!! I used to dread going to bed!
My mom on the other hand, has mentioned hearing a girl call out "mom" a couple times. She always thinks it's me, but then discovers that she's the only person in the house. She called me both times to make sure I wasn't in danger. lol

you should keep a word document open and see if something actually gets typed...

I do not believe in to many things, but I absolutely do think there are ghosts... I have never seen one, but way to many of my credible friends or relatives have... My son said he saw a little girl in a yellow dress walk past his door one night. After our daughter had been in bed. He was very non challant about it, when he saw it he thought our daughter had a friend over, at the time, it wasn't a big deal... After looking back it was altogether strange.
When I am downstairs, I hear from the second floor, footsteps and the floor creaking as if somebody is walking around upstairs... On the occasions when I do look everybody is sound asleep... But I do not fear them...until I see symptoms of amityville horror in my house, then I'll just continue to watch and wait...

I really do not know how I would react. I watch all these movies....so-called true experiences, and think to myself...WHY THE HECK would you stay in that house HAHA
What was that last movie...Paranormal Activity....GEESH I would been long gone from that house

I have also had allot of strange things happen over the years, I won’t share them here. However I do believe evil is very real.
Prayer and the demand to be left alone, and that whatever it is …telling it that it’s not welcome are the best and only way to get it to go away. Don’t encourage a spirit by talking to it, don’t play with Ouija boards and do not invite evil into your house.

Hey did I ever tell you guys my Ouija Board story??? I guess I did have something weird happen to me

Well when I was a young teenager, I had one....a few friends and I "played" with it....some weird stuff happened, and I put the Ouija Board away in a closet...this was in my mothers house. After I was married she and my father divorced, she re-married and moved. I have no clue what happened to the Ouija Board....EXCEPT for the fact that it with me in Oklahoma
I know it's mine caue my name is on it......I had also moved a few times, and I KNOW I did not take it with me.....Believe me...I would not have packed that thing
I do still have it....I read once you should never destroy one
...so it is in a spare bedroom where I know where it is....I will not open the box though LOL

Tell God you are sorry for keeping such a thing as you toss it into the fire..I read he loves that kind of stuff...

ouija boards freak me out. We asked one to show us a sign that a ghost was there and ten minutes later we smelled something burning and somehow the toaster was on and smoking.

NO-No-No!! I've heard that burning it will release the evil spirits! Hack it up and get rid of it .. Haven't you seen the Exorcist? Reagan met captain Howdy through one of these boards!!

How to destroy a Ouija board

When I was a kid, I had a ouija board. I didn't know any of the religious connotations since I grew up in what I thought was an atheist house. Anyway, when I was done with the board, I threw it in the fire burning in the barrel in our back yard. My dad burned our paper trash. Anyway, I WATCHED the white spade burn and drip, cause like any kid I liked watching plastic burn... The next day, it was sitting on top of the ashes in perfect form. Not even charred...
So I took it, and as I said I was young, I figured maybe my brother put another one out there for me to watch burn. Anyway, I burned it and watched it again, and again, the next day it was on the ground propped against the rusty ol barrel, and again, unharmed not even smoke damage. While telling that story the first time, is when I learned that it was supposed to be linked with spirits...needless to say, I never touched another one!...
