Local store just got a 10" black clown. Has anyone seen anything like this? What would you even feed something like that. I have never seen a clown bigger than my sebae 4" clown.
Just curious if anyone has seen something like this?

Got a picture? Black Clownfish are usually known as Clarkii's but from what I've read they never get bigger than 5 inches or so.

Going to get a picture this evening. I just dont understand what this fish would even eat in the wild to support that size. I guess you would just find some flake food the size of a pizza lol. I spoke with the owner and he told me it was simply MASSIVE. I have been in this hobby for about 10 years. Never seen or heard of anything like this.
Perhaps the years of dumping in the ocean have turned out some mutants ;-)

It's over here in Houston/The Woodlands TX "dont think I can say the store name". I was thinking about getting it, but I seriously don't think I could afford feeding it. Funny the wild things that pop up every once in a while in this hobby. Going to try and see it after work. Of course they want crazy $$$ for it.
I wonder if it's just a genetic mutant. What if it is still young lol?

Well... Unfortunately things were exaggerated just a tad. Don’t get me wrong, this thing was a MONSTER and defiantly the largest I have ever seen. But it was not 10". It was about the size of an adult hand. Easily 6"
It was in an empty tank with NOTHING to get a size comparison. I took a few pictures but the size was very hard to see in a photo. Instead I took a quick video of it and you can tell it's a BEAST. Still pretty cool.
