What I find ironic is Arizona is one of the most open-minded with their gun laws. They pretty much let anyone with a firearm "pack" anywhere they want. These clips you speak of are standard capacity, anyway. Some states like Ca only allow low capacity magazines like 10 rounders.
30 roung 9 mm glock isn't standard capacity, it is an extented mag. But not as crazy as the salacious political haymaking leftist media make it out to seem.

Streb your the only one that looks like a jack-ass, try to understand that I was asking from the perspective of somebody who had to be on a team that would respond to any shipboard threats or if somebody was trying to steal a nuke, I never had a 30 round clip for anything I was issued to carry. Of course never being in the military, you don't understand why I laugh so hard at all the wanne-be types, can you get those clips in a phalic shape, cause you know that is the real reason a civilian buys a 30 round clip or they are a nut-job and never having actually served your country beyond waving your Texas flag, don't bother responding.
I will give you another tip, I would be very careful out in the real world taunting people who you think are libs who have had the training I have had, you might end up embarrassing yourself very badly.

I have every right to laugh at people who could not hack it in the military or did not serve strapping on camo fatigues and a AR-15 for the joke these play soldiers really are.

The reality is you need to check yourself, because you with the training you claim, and the statement you just make, is tantamount to brandishing a weapon. Something you shouldn't be doing in this situation.

You must live in a free state. They're not available in Ca...liberal movement in Ca has outlawed 50cals. We were required to register existing weapons, destroy them, or remove them from the state of California. After the law went into effect, you could not live in Ca buy a 50 cal. You enjoy freedoms that the liberals in Ca have stolen from me. Hold on to your freedoms...liberal mindsets are coming for them.
The father of the dead girl born on 9/11 said that he hopes this tragedy will not be used to strip people of their gun rights, but sadly & thanks to people like fish(rambo)taco, I'm afraid it will do just that.

Definitely an "oops" moment for someone. Sad that it cost lives, but you can't cry wolf and not eventually get ignored. I blame the shooter alone. I shouldn't have to pay law enforcement to babysit fruitcakes. I feel that someone else at the scene had the responsibility to drop this guy after he got the second round off.

I think most people left and right will agree that sheriff is an idiot but I dunno if any of those claims would have made a difference. The kid would have to be convicted of a felony or placed in a mental institution to trigger a flag on a background check

I completely agree, but if you're going to blame other unrelated people for political purposes, when you've investigated him already and he passed well..

Nice try Socal, but your Tea Party act is less than impressive, please look and prove that I have said I am for taking everyones guns away, why would I do that since I hunt?Being a free country I can laugh at wanna-be toys soldiers all I want. One thing that has me confused though is that you talk about being a Christian, as a Christian, why would you want something like a 50 cal. machine gun in your home? It is made for one thing and one thing only, killing other people and since they are thousands of dollars and the ammunition is so expensive, you would really have to want one.
As I said, I am not rambo, but my training does make me very paranoid and non-trusting of any civilian I see with a fire arm because chances are good they are a untrained idiot who is more than likely going to shoot an innocent bystander as save the day and I do support making concealed carry permits a lot more difficult to get in terms of training received instead of a 6 hour course, it should be more like six weeks including CQ training and going to the morgue and looking at a body that has been shot.
I don't want to take guns away, I do however support taking dangerous toys away from children.

That is fine Streb and I crossed a line also, I will assure you though that my comments about gun control do not come from a political place, but are strictly the result of my service and experiences. I only had to deal with one real security situation and I think it gives me a different perspective on this stuff and it also makes me respect our people in the military more than you could know. I would much prefer to live in a world without guns or gun culture except for hunting and my ideas for punishment for people who use guns to commit crimes are pretty far from liberal and now this whack-job in Arizona is going to cost the system a bunch of money when a one day trial and then a second day execution is what we should be doing.
My frustration with you comes from the fact you are so quick to put a tag on me when I am pretty much a guy who worked his ass off his entire life, bought a little slice of heaven and slammed the door closed behind me.
